GMPLS - Generalized Multiprotocol Label Switching
No new posts GMPLS Standards
Label-inferred MPLS is forwarding packets based on a fixed length header field - the Label. Generalized MPLS (GMPLS) broadens this mechanism and uses all sorts of label representations (fibre, wavelength, time slot, interface, packet header etc.) for the same purpose.
